MANAUS – The mayor of Manaus, David Almeida (Avante), meets with President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), this Monday, 10, in Brasilia. On the agenda, is the mayor’s support to the president in this second round of presidential elections.
The political convergence with the president will have as its main point the maintenance of tax incentives of the Manaus Free Trade Zone, a theme that the mayor does not give up defending.
The economic model employs more than 500,000 workers, directly and indirectly, and is responsible for keeping 97% of the Amazon forest standing.
