MANAUS – The constant increases in fuel prices in Brazil have directly worried the final consumer: the owners of automotive vehicles. Last Thursday, 10, Amazonas citizens were surprised with the sudden change in fuel prices, after the readjustment announced by Petrobras. On the same day the oil company announced the increase, even before the gas stations “felt the impact” of the increase, regular gasoline was already being sold at some points for R$ 7.19 a liter (L) and for R$ 7.39 L in other parts of the city. Before, it was sold for R$6.59 L.

1 – Preventive Maintenance
One of the main tips for drivers, no doubt, is directly linked to preventive maintenance of the vehicle. Unlike corrective maintenance, its main objective is to anticipate future problems of the car, avoiding the need for corrections. Car owners must pay attention to components involved with combustion, such as spark plugs, coils, batteries, and cables. The repair of these items is also fundamental to pollute less.
2 – Avoid abrupt maneuvers
Just as preventive maintenance is essential for the vehicle, avoiding abrupt maneuvers or unnecessary accelerations are fundamental to maintain a good performance of the vehicle or take the car to a repair shop.
