MANAUS – The International Criminal Court (ICC) – created to judge people who commit crimes of international scope – based in The Hague, Netherlands, received on Wednesday, 9, the report of the CPI of the pandemic, which investigated for six months the actions of the federal government in combating the pandemic and accuses the President of the Republic Jair Bolsonaro of crimes against humanity. CENARIUM has anticipated, in its magazine cover of October/2021, the reasons that would lead the president to be judged for such serious attitudes, as we explain below.
The complaint, based on the final report sent by the CPI, points out nine crimes committed by Jair Bolsonaro: malfeasance, charlatanism, epidemic with result of death, violation of preventive health measures, irregular use of public funds, incitement to crime, forgery of private documents, crime of responsibility, and crimes against humanity.
The president of the Covid-19 CPI, Amazonian senator Omar Aziz, confirmed that the final report was accepted by the International Criminal Court and highlighted that from now on the proceedings are confidential. “But we present evidence of the commission of nine crimes by President Jair Bolsonaro,” Aziz said on a social network.
Senator Randolfe Rodrigues, vice-president of the pandemic CPI, celebrated the acceptance of the final report. “It is another fundamental step in the fight against impunity. Our work continues and we will not rest until JUSTICE is done,” wrote the senator in a post on Instagram.
October Cover
In the October 2021 issue, the cover of the CENARIUM MAGAZINE, entitled “The President at The Hague Tribunal”, advanced that, due to experiments carried out in the Amazon with the use of the so-called “Covid Kit” for the treatment of the virus, there was the possibility of President Jair Bolsonaro becoming a defendant at The Hague International Court.
At the time, the text published by CENARIUM highlights that in September 2021, the Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPI) of Pandemic allowed an opening for investigation and found that the use of the medicine, in fact, was not only an ideological issue, but, above all, an economic one.
The drug so defended by Bolsonaro and his allies, according to the CPI, is part of an agreement between the federal government and businessmen.
